Oral History Interviews Some of the most important family stories will never appear in an archive. The Book of You offers relaxed, guided oral-history interviews with parents, grandparents, relatives or other important people in your family's story.  Conversations can explore childhood, parents and grandparents, school days, working life, marriage and family, local life, traditions, significant events and the memories and stories passed from one generation to another. The result is a precious record of your relative telling their story in their own voice, preserved for future generations.

A family recording can focus on a particular theme, event or collection of memories rather than a complete life story. This could include memories of growing up in a particular place, family traditions, working life, emigration, childhood memories or stories about previous generations. Recordings can also be combined with photographs, documents and genealogical research.
